For many years Las Vegas was known only as a sin city. But with the opening of the Mirage Hotel Resort in 1989, the time of the large hotel resorts has started. Today there are many hotels along the Las Vegas Boulevard, known as well as the Strip, each of them with several thousands beds. Today Las Vegas has changed from the sin city to the city of entertainment. Millions of families are coming to the city and spend their vacations there. The modern hotel resorts in Las Vegas offer much more than hospitality.

Saturday, May 23rd, 2009Nearly 40 million tourists visit Las Vegas, Nevada, every year. This is a very large number compared to the population of only 600,000 citizens. So it is not a big surprise that some of the world’s largest hotels are located in Las Vegas and Clark County. Interestingly, the major parts of the most famous road of Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Boulevard better known as the Strip, do not belong to the city of Las Vegas.
